Another strike against Comcast
So... Dr. Who Series 3 came partially after Torchwood Series 1 and Torchwood ended with the lead character moving into Dr. Who for a couple episodes, with Dr. Who ending with said character going back to Torchwood for Series 2, which obviously came after said Dr. Who series.
Fast forward to BBC America who decided to show them at the same time. Rather than face any possible spoilers, the wife and I decided to not view Torchwood until after the Dr. Who series ended. Which lead to eventual disappointment as, for some bizarre reason, we lost the first 6 episodes of Torchwood.
Space issues? Maybe. Possibly for a couple in the middle, but for most of the time, we've been barely touching 70% full. Heck, there was hardly anything new on, and, with Torchwood being SD, I'd imagine that more than 1 or 2 episodes at a time would get erased.
'All Episodes' set? Yep. None of the 'Save only 5 episodes' or anything...
So what happened? Why did we lose 6 episodes? Will the Comcast sucktastic DVR only save 7 episodes of a series? Will this just hasten my move to Tivo?
