What I'm looking for...
I'd like to find a nice, neat little web based application that is mobile friendly that just lets me make lists that are easily accessible.
Something that would let me make a grocery list... or maybe a list of books I want to buy.
I envision, on the phone anyways, a 1-9 system of list names, something like:
1 - Grocery List 12/28/07
2 - Books I want
3 - DVDs to Rent
4 - Restaurants to try
etc etc etc where these are the names of my lists and 0 would be reserved for 'More lists'.
If I can edit the list from the phone, even better. Also, I don't want the list itself to be shortened down to a screens size.. if I have a hundred books I'm shopping for, put them up there. You can let me sort them.. heck, if you can make the application even table based so I can sort by any column I want... even better.
Anyone know of a solution for this?

I don't have a solution, but let me know what you find. I usually end up having to tote a small excel spreadsheet around.
You might want to look at listology.com. You can't create tabular lists, but its very plain html and the lists are totally free-form but still can be, for instance, auto-numbered.
