Katrina... some years later

Patricia bought this wonderful couch. Really nice. Not the most expensive, but definitely one that you'd consider a bit more posh than most. FWIW, if anyone wants to get us the 10k couch at Skarbos, we'll gladly accept.

Well, over some time, the couch cushions began to break down.

So, since the couch was expensive and the store was pretty high-brow, we figured we'd get them to look at it and, sure enough, they'll pay for most of the work (we cover labor) but I learned something interesting.

Apparently, the couch repair folks have seen this issue a lot since Katrina. Most of the American foam factories are actually based in Southern Mississippi and they've had some issues since the hurricane.

Who knew.

Well, besides all those people who purchase foam from manufacturers...
