Do you ubuntu?

So, I'm trying to build a media server, or, at the least, a MP3 server and I decided to go for ubuntu since the machine I'm using isn't exactly strong.

Since all the DAPs I have don't know ogg or vorbis, I need to do MP3 and I'm having trouble picking a ripper.

What I would like is:

a) speed

b) the ability to customize the resulting file name separately for Various Artist discs vs. single artists...

c)  Pull from CDDB/freedb

d)  Fill in a good amount of the mp3 tags on the file

RubyRipper is doing all, I think, except for a) where it fails in spades.

If you happen to have a suggestion for an alternative, please oh please, let me know.

Update: So, Asunder is working pretty well, except, for some odd reason, it doesn't seem to finish the encoding 90% of the time.
